Workshop Getting Started in
Technical Diving
One of the key factors in technical diving is once you have
successfully completed a course and become a competent diver
with all the skills under your belt, the big question is where
do you take it from there. |
Most deep wrecks lie offshore and
in order to dive them a hard boat has to be chartered along
with a skipper who knows what he's doing. This is not cheap
and its normally the case where a boat is chartered by a group
of divers to spread the cost. Moving from a newly qualified
'Tek Diver' to an expedition diver and exploring significant
shipwrecks is a big jump, certainly something the training agency
cant teach you.
Both Paul Mee & Neil Plant are examples of enthusiastic
divers who wanted a little more than the average club level
diving. Both men were left wondering where to go next after
completing their respective courses and a number of years later
can boast some pretty |

EuroTek.08 they have agreed to team
up and run a workshop that will focus on the aspects of Technical
Diving after you have completed your training. Neither of these
guys represent any affiliation, they have nothing to sell or
gain but have offered to tell it as it is. Both Paul & Neil
are recreational divers and hold down day to day jobs the same
as just about every delegate attending the conference. If your
interested in taking your diving to the next level then don't
miss this workshop. |
