Titanic's Last Secrets
Richie Kohler will present on the story behind the book "TITANIC'S LAST SECRETS by Brad Matsen. Richie will be on hand at EuroTek to sign copies of the first UK batch.

Following a tantalizing clue, Richie Kohler and partner John Chatterton forensically examined the wreck of the RMS Titanic in 2005, documenting missing pieces of the ships hull that have changed perceptions of why and how the great ship sank so quickly, with the tragic loss of 1500 lives.

Was in fact Titanic a weak ship with a hidden Achilles heel? New archival and historical sources point to a cover up by both the builders, Harland and Wolff, and the owner, The White Star Line, and prompted a second expedition in 2006 to search deep inside Titanic' sister ship, HMHS Britannic to uncover the proof of Titanic's Last Secrets.

A new book “Titanics Last Secrets” by Brad Matsen, detailing these expeditions and their findings will be available fall 2008.
Along with his wife Carrie, Kohler is currently conducting technical dive training, rebreather instruction, and leading shipwreck expeditions worldwide, more often than not his head underwater, searching for the next great dive.

Richie Kohler to Sign new Titanic book at EuroTek

Deep Sea Detectives star and series host will be at EuroTek with his new 'hot off the press' book 'Titanics Last Secret s'.Written by Brad Matsen this is the continuing adventures of Shadow Divers John Chatterton & Richie Kohler. In an expertly written account, Matson does what would seem impossible: He tells us something new about the Titanic Disaster discovered by Chatterton & Kohler. Richie will be talking about this new book in his presentation and signing copies at EuroTek.

Legacy of the USS Largarto

Richie Kohler will present at EuroTek.08 on the recently discovered secrets surrounding the WWII US submarine, USS Lagarto.

In 2005 Tech divers Jamie Macleod and Stewart Oehl while searching far into the Gulf of Thailand, located one of the US NAVY's last submarine's lost in World War Two, The USS LAGARTO. In 2006 the USN confirmed the identity and the families of LAGARTOS eighty-five man crew received word of the subs final resting place, but no details about the sinking.

For them this was not good enough. At their request and with the support of the Wisconsin Maritime Museum, Richie Kohler, John Chatterton and Evan Kovacs joined the original team to remove the shroud of nets and mystery surrounding the wreck and with Hi-def video and ROV's uncovered the facts behind the USS LAGARTO's final moments.
