EuroTek Presenter
Richard Steveson
Richard Stevenson has been involved with deep wreck and cave diving since the early 90’s when he first heard about the use of Trimix through the media such as Aquacorps.

This lead to meeting other like minded individuals in early deep diving venues such as Dorothea, Easdale Quarry in Oban and eventually meeting and joining up with members of the now disbanded group ‘Starfish Enterprise’Enjoying the use of Trimix on deep wrecks lead him into the World of Cave Diving and with a passion for both Rich embarked upon becoming an Instructor to be able to train divers in the use of mixed gas diving and it’s associated disciplines.

Rich gained his qualifications after years of exploratory diving and relies on this experience when running Technical level courses.

In turn Rich has been responsible for training Instructors since 1998 and continues to do so on a regular basis.Training is very important at this level and Rich feels that his personal experiences can make a difference to the abilities of an individual diver as well as maintaining safety.
Another aspect of Rich’s diving career has led him to become involved with a couple of TV documentaries and this has opened up other doors and led to very interesting film work within the Media.
Rich also runs a small consultancy service for Media house productions dealing with all aspects of underwater TV and Film production.
In addition to his Media work an Instructing Rich has also become a Commercially Qualified boat handler after many years of owning boats and operating charters throughout Europe. He can also take divers out on his Expedition RIB that is used primarily for Offshore Exploration and Media Film work.
