'Rebreather Open
forum Panel'
 |
The Rebreather Open Forum
Panel was a success in 2008 and well attended with only
standing room left. This seminar is an open and informative
platform where delegates have the opportunity to ask questions
directly to Manufacturers and Representatives about their
units in a frank and transparent forum.
This is a perfect opportunity for delegates who are considering
moving onto a rebreather to ask why a particular rebreather
is designed a specific way:
Why for instance do some manufacturers choose back-mounted
counter lung as opposed to an over the shoulder design?
|
Is an axial scrubber a better design than
a radial? Is it important?
What is the duration of a CO2 Scrubber?
Semi-Closed vs Fully Closed
This is an opportunity for experienced and non-experienced
rebreather divers to ask pertinent questions directly to the
manufacturer about why their rebreather is right or wrong
for them. The aim is to demystify many of the urban myths
surrounding rebreathers, what they are capable of and what
each unit offers the user. The Session will be moderated and
is scheduled for 1 hour.
The Panel will comprise of :-
Martin Parker
Kevin Gurr
Professor Simon Mitchell
others TBA
