EuroTek 'Diver of the Conference' Award is dedicated in memory of Keith Morris

EuroTek Tek Diving conference co organisers Carl Spencer & Leigh Bishop have dedicated this very special award in memory of Keith Morris

On Friday 17th June 2005 technical diver Keith Morris went missing presumed dead after he failed to surface from a deep wreck dive in the English Channel. Keith has never been seen since.

Keith was a pioneer of the mixed gas revolution that swept Europe in the early 1990s, and his early journey to Billy Dean’s place in Key West to learn the concept of technical diving spiced what would become his passion for the next decade. For the emerging technical diving community, Keith's Aqua Corps cover photography described best his ingenious and original approach to photographing people just as his man-with-sticks cover for Led Zeppelin's fourth album had done for the rock music industry.

Keith was a friend to many people here tonight, and a character in the technical diving community who we all shared great friendship with.

The EuroTek Diver of the conference award has been dedicated by Carl Spencer & Leigh Bishop in the memory of Keith Morris.
