The EuroTek Gala Dinner Golden Snorkel
Award
This is a unique award that we cant
see will go out that often at future EuroTek events but at the
2008 awards it had to be delivered.
The golden snorkel award is for someone who makes a complete
fool of themselves on an expedition and it’s caught on
film or camera.This can be a cave diver, wreck diver, ice diver
or any diver who will be in attendance to receive the award
at the EuroTek Gala Dinner. Preferably the diver will not know
they have been nominated.
If you wish to send in your nominations in the build up to EuroTek
2010 please contact us before sending. |

The 2008 Golden Snorkel award goes to 'Top Technical diver'
Jeff Cornish of the Dark Star deep wreck diving team for his
famous entry into the North Atlantic before diving the 130m
deep Transylvania. This video is available to watch on You
Tube. At the time of being awarded to Jeff this video had
received in the region of 39,000 hits.

a leading deep wreck diver and has successfully dived many
deep wrecks including the Carpathia of which he presented
