| 1:- Decompression
planning – Translating
decompression theory practically with PC planning tools
Well known technical diver and instructor Mark Powell looks
at how technical divers can make sense of current decompression
theories and shows how they can apply these theories to practically
planning their dives. Mark will look at the range of models
available and pair these up with the current set of PC planning
tools. The presentation will cover;
- Current PC planning tools and the models
they use
- Dive Computers and their built in models
- What are the implications of choosing each program or computer
- Matching your computer and PC planning tool
2:- Deep stops and bubble models
– A special in depth seminar aimed at
Tek divers.
In this Presentation Mark Powell looks at
the reasons for using deep stops or bubble models. Mark will
discuss the differences between these models and traditional
models and the implications for our decompression dives. Mark
will explain the complex concepts in a way that can be applied
to real world diving.
- Traditional deco models
- The original of deep stops
- Gradient factors
- The introduction of bubble models
- Bubble model principles
