Title: “ BENGASI – the Cristal wreck” a video presentation

The Bengasi, belonging to the national society of the nautical services, was launched to the sea on 12 of March, 1912.
As a freighter and a passenger ship its routes passed by cities like Genoa, Naples, Reggio di Calabria, Siracusa, between others.
In 1916 it did commissions as a postal ship, serving the war minister.
During the 2º big war and with the British marine ruling the Mediterranean, the Bengasi, which was suspected of carrying arms and drugs, was an easy target.
At 7:35 a.m of 6 of March, 1941, the English submarine Truant sent one of its torpedoes, putting an end to the Bengasi.

It now lies at 96 meters deep, in the blue waters of mediterrain, beautiful and totally intact, keep in her interior thousands and thousands of cristal and galss objects.
It´s like a lost treasure, and when our lights illuminate that splendour.

Don´t miss this amazing wreck.
