Inside Antarctic iceberg caves
A presentation by Jill Heinerth Eurotek 2010

When Jill Heinerth was asked to lead a National Geographic diving team inside Antarctic iceberg caves, the National Science Foundation in the US refused to a grant a permit for exploration. As a further insult, they sent a letter warning that the US Coast Guard would not provide rescue or support in the case of an emergency. But despite warnings, she and filmmaker Wes Skiles took on the challenge and enlisted the help of a New Zealand vessel to get them to the largest moving object on the planet. Their 60-day odyssey in Antarctica will leave the audience on the edge of their seats.
